Watch a new clip below for Kong: Skull Island which features a connection to Godzilla as it’s revealed John Goodman’s character works for Monarch, the govt. agency featured in the 2014 Godzilla movie.
A friend of mine already saw Kong: Skull Island and told me there is a Godzilla Easter Egg/scene in the movie, which goes by pretty quick, so you will want to pay close attention.
Godzilla 2 is currently in development as is Godzilla vs. King Kong.
Update: The director on Godzilla 2 teases a Kong: Skull Island Godzilla post-credit scene.

Synopsis:
