Justice League Movie Contest Includes Green Lantern

It’s long been rumored and speculated that Green Lantern will be appearing in next month’s Justice League movie, and now there is potential evidence of just that.

A new Justice League contest has been launched in conjunction with WB’s The Big Bang Theory, which happens to feature Green Lantern.

Singing up and choosing the “superhero of the day” leads to a link to “The Big Bank Theory Justice League Geekstakes” which features a wheel of the Justice League movie logos.

One of the logos happens to be Green Lantern:

Clicking the wheel and spinning it unlocks a scene from The Big Bang Theory referencing a DC character.

Obviously this could be just for The Big Bang Theory, as Green Lantern shirts, costumes and references have appeared in the series, but it is rather interesting they are using Green Lantern specifically for a Justice League movie promo.

You can enter The Big Ban Theory contest and see the Justice League wheel in action here.

Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
