Zack Snyder is once again giving fans a reason to fire up the SnyderVerse talk.
The Justice League director posted a throwback photo on Instagram featuring himself with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher from the 2017 CinemaCon event for Warner Bros.
Snyder captioned the post, âThe Boys,â with Dermot Kennedyâs âHappinessâ attached to the post.
The image quickly took off with fans, bringing in more than 40,000 likes and over 1,400 comments, based on the screenshots.
Fans Call To Restore The SnyderVerse
As expected, the comments turned into a SnyderVerse rally.
One fan wrote, âBringâem back and #RestoreTheSnyderverse already.â
Another said, âRun it back! #restorethesnyderverse.â
Others pushed for more from Snyderâs DC run, including, âMake The Batfleck Movie,â while another fan wrote, âPerfect cast. If you ever get a chance please make this: Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.â
Another comment simply repeated the hashtag â#RestoreTheSnyderVerseâ over and over.
The fan account zacksnyderfans also commented, âThe Boys will return in Zack Snyderâs Justice League 2,â along with the #restorethesnyderverse hashtag.
The 2017 CinemaCon Moment
The photo comes from Warner Bros.â 2017 CinemaCon presentation, where Snyder took the stage in Las Vegas with Affleck, Cavill, Momoa, Miller, and Fisher to promote Justice League.
Entertainment Weekly reported at the time that Snyder described Justice League as the culmination of a seven-year journey. Snyder also said bringing the team together was a dream come true because he was a huge fan of the characters.
Gal Gadot was not at the event in person, but Warner Bros. also used the presentation to promote Wonder Woman and tease Aquaman. EW noted that Momoa told theater owners he was about to head to Australia to begin production on the James Wan-directed Aquaman movie.

SnyderVerse Fans Are Still Showing Up
The post is another reminder that the SnyderVerse fan base has not gone away.
Snyder has posted Justice League-related material before, and every time he does, the same thing happens: fans flood the comments asking for the sequels, Ben Affleckâs Batman movie, and more stories from that version of the DC universe.
This time, the âThe Boysâ caption only added fuel to it, with fans reading the post as another nod to the cast Snyder assembled before Warner Bros. moved DC in a different direction.
