Zack Snyder is still counting down to the five-year anniversary of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and his latest post again has fans thinking something could be coming on March 18.
This time, Snyder shared a six-image collage featuring the core Justice League heroes and wrote, “A moment of myth.
Each member of the Justice League facing the burden of responsibility with honor—captured in the 1.43:1, they stand like figures in a myth—looking toward what comes next.”
Zack Snyder leans into myth again
The post puts the full team back in the spotlight, with each image showing a hero alone, framed in a way Snyder says makes them feel like mythic figures.
That fits with how Snyder has always described his DC heroes. He has long presented Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash as larger-than-life characters carrying enormous weight. The wording of the caption makes clear he still sees Justice League through that same lens.
The mention of the 1.43:1 frame also stands out, as it calls attention to the visual style that helped define Zack Snyder’s Justice League and made it feel different from the usual comic book movie.
‘Looking toward what comes next’ jumps out
What will grab fans most is the final part of the caption.
Snyder says the heroes are “looking toward what comes next,” which is the kind of line that is always going to fuel speculation, especially with the March 18 anniversary only days away.
On its own, the quote can be read as Snyder talking about the characters in a thematic sense. But taken alongside his other recent posts, fans are likely going to see it as another tease.
He has already posted Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Wayne T. Carr as John Stewart, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Darkseid, and multiple Justice League posters. Nearly every caption has included wording fans can read as loaded with extra meaning.
The March 18 speculation keeps building
At this point, Snyder has clearly created a pattern.
Each new post adds another piece to the larger Justice League picture while also keeping attention on the parts of his DC story that never got completed. Because of that, plenty of fans believe he may be building toward some kind of reveal tied to the five-year anniversary.
Maybe it is just a celebration of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Maybe it is a tribute to the fans who helped get the movie released. Or maybe Snyder is intentionally keeping people guessing until Wednesday.
Whatever the case, the phrase “looking toward what comes next” is only going to add more fuel to the fire.
