Jesse Plemons could be heading to a galaxy far, far away, as the actor is reportedly in talks to play the villain in Shawn Levy’s upcoming Star Wars movie, currently in development at Lucasfilm.
If cast, Jesse Plemons would potentially join Ryan Gosling, who is said to be in talks for the Star Wars film. Jodie Comer is also rumored.

Plot details for the Shawn Levy Star Wars movie are also being kept under wraps. It has been reported Levy’s movie will be unconnected to the so-called Skywalker Saga and that it’s meant to be a standalone movie.
The film also doesn’t have an official release date, but is looking like it could be the next Star Wars movie to be released following Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian & Grogu which comes out May 22, 2026.
