Ironheart Ratings In The Gutter: Absent From Luminate Viewership Charts

We get our first indication of whether Ironheart is a success — and it appears to be another bomb from Kevin Feige — as it’s learned the show is absent from Luminate’s viewership charts for the week the first three episodes were released.

Luminate Film & TV Streaming Viewership is owned by Eldridge Industries and Penske Media Corporation. Together, they’re behind major media brands like Billboard, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, and Dick Clark Productions. Eldridge also owns stakes in the Los Angeles Dodgers, A24, and Vivid Seats, with broader investments spanning media, finance, tech, and real estate.

What are the ratings?

Luminate released its numbers for the week the first three episodes of Ironheart were available — June 20–26 (the episodes dropped on June 24) — and Ironheart failed to chart.

At the bottom of the rankings is Mobland with an estimated 260.8 million minutes watched, which means all three episodes of Ironheart came in below that number. That also puts the average per episode at under 86.9 million minutes.

We’ll know more about the Ironheart ratings in a month when the Nielsen ratings are released. Disney automatically has Nielsen turned on in your Disney+ accounts.

Ironheart is another Kevin Feige fail

With the three episodes not appearing at all on the Luminate charts, it’s obviously not a good sign. It’s probably why Disney decided to dump all the episodes in a week, as the final three episodes get released on Tuesday. They knew it was a stinker going in.

Worth a mention is that Robert Downey Jr. shilled for the show, which did nothing to bolster viewership. Marvel better be careful, as they need to justify dishing out $100M to RDJ for Avengers: Doomsday.

Ironheart is also currently the second-worst-rated MCU series on Disney+ by the fans, with a 56% audience score.  Secret Invasion is currently the lowest at 53%.

Ironheart is another misfire from Kevin Feige as part of his approach to the post-Endgame MCU, which has been a complete failure. Recent bombs on the big screen include Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts. On the TV side of things, Daredevil: Born Again also failed to chart on Nielsen, the first time ever for an MCU show. Agatha‘s ratings weren’t much better.

Disney has slashed Marvel budgets and content

As a result of Kevin Feige’s failures, Disney has pulled back on Marvel content and slashed budgets.

Following Fantastic Four getting released this summer, Marvel Studios doesn’t have a new movie coming out until December 2026 with Avengers: Doomsday.

Likewise, while Daredevil: Born Again is getting a Season 2, as evident by the first season, its budget has been slashed considerably compared to the previous shows like She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and even Ironheart, which was filmed years ago when Disney was dropping billions on streaming content. Well, the content has proven it’s not good, and fans have stopped watching.

The Real Cost of Feige’s Post-Endgame Agenda

To be frank: What really sucks is that as a result of Disney spending billions on Marvel shows no one asked for or wanted, now everything after has to suffer.

Imagine if Daredevil: Born Again had a $200 million budget?

One of my favorite characters, Nova, also reportedly had its series canceled because it would cost too much.

Feige should have went with Nova following Infinity War instead of Captain Marvel and continued post-Endgame adapting Annihilation. The Russos set it all up with the start of Infinity War. Instead, the MCU became all about the agenda and politics. How’s it been working out?
