Disney has released a fresh spot for Tron: Ares, teasing the high-stakes action of its upcoming sci-fi thriller. The new promo is titled “The War for Our World Begins” and continues to build hype ahead of the October 10 IMAX release.

Military AI Takes Center Stage
The new spot frames Ares as “the ultimate soldier” — a military-grade artificial intelligence who escapes the digital realm and enters our reality. “You think you’re in control of this? You’re not,” warns one character, while Ares cryptically offers, “I can help you.”
The voiceover sets the tone: “Military AI is the future. Meet Ares, the ultimate soldier.”
IMAX, Release Date, and Rating
Tron: Ares is rated PG-13 and was filmed specifically for IMAX screens. The film opens exclusively in theaters on October 10.
Cast and Crew
Directed by Joachim Rønning, the film stars Jared Leto as Ares, alongside Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges.
Nine Inch Nails Score and Soundtrack
The promo also continues Disney’s push for the film’s soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails. Their new single, “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” plays during the footage. It’s the band’s first new track in five years and is part of the full Tron: Ares score dropping September 19 via Interscope Records.
