Itâs learned the Inhumans movie more than likely will not be connected to Agents of SHIELD.
Clark Gregg spoke with Digital Spy and offered the Inhumans film will be its own thing.
The Inhumans movie I suspect will be its own cinematic version. That writer and director will have free reign to do what they want to do with the Inhumans. But hopefully thereâll be some way that our Inhumans connect to that. Itâd be too bad if that was wasted.
Whatâs kind of necessary for the show to work is that it is its own thing and itâs not dependant upon those crossovers. Theyâre just fun stuff that happens once in a while.Â
They destroy the organisation our show is named after and we have to deal with that! Iâll be interested to see how it evolves, that crossover stuff.
The news shouldnât be all that surprising as the Marvel movies have yet to mention Agents Of SHIELD. In addition, Kevin Feige recently parted ways with the people that run Marvel TV over creative differences.
Itâs even been said Marvel Studios may scrap the Inhumans movie altogether.
Inhumans has a July 12, 2019 release; Vin Diesel appears to be vying for the role of Black Bolt and has recommended Rose Leslie for a role.
