Details are learned about Zazie Beetz’s Fox Studios deal, which has seen the actress sign on to play Domino in Deadpool 2.
It’s been reported that X-Force is set to begin filming this October and has been described as being more ruthless than X-Men.
The article also lets it be known that Ryan Reynolds signed Zazie Beetz to play Domino after only one meeting following having noticed her on Atlanta and includes mention of her training for the role, which is said to be a villain in the movie (according to the article).
Zazie Beetz trained two months of intense training before the shoot, along with four hours each day during production.
“It was a lot,” Beetz said, noting that she didn’t enjoy being in pain. “Especially because in my routine day-to-day, I didn’t really work out that much. So it was a huge transition emotionally and physically … just something I hadn’t felt before. [I’d] never really brought myself that far.”
Catch Zazie Beetz on Atlanta Season 2 on FX Thursdays at 10pm EST.
