It’s learned that Deadpool 2 and John Wick director David Leitch is in talks to remake the 1973 classic Bruce Lee martial arts flick, Enter The Dragon.
The Enter The Dragon remake is in early development and will be released by Warner Bros.
The original movie was directed by Robert Clouse and starred Bruce Lee, John Saxon and Jim Kelly, and is described as: Recruited by intelligence agency, outstanding martial arts student Bruce Lee participates in brutal karate tournament hosted by Han.
Last Friday marked the 45th anniversary of Bruce Lee’s death on July 20, 1973 at the age of 32; Enter The Dragon was released shortly after, six days following his death on July 26, 1973.
In 2004 the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.
