DCEU Adds Chantal Nong

The DCEU shake up continues as following Walter Hamada being named DC film president, now WB taps Chantal Nong in an executive role.

THR reports Chantal Nong has been named vp production of Warners’ DC film group, which will see Nong work on the development and production management of the DC slate.

It’s noted things have been pretty quiet as of late with Aquaman coming out this December and Shazam! currently only filming, but Wonder Woman 2 is said to begin casting soon, and look for the next DC movies to possibly be for The Flash and Batgirl.

It’s also known that Suicide Squad 2 is in development along with the Matt Reeves Batman movie and a Chris McKay-directed Nightwing film.

WB also announced a DC Vertigo movie with The Kitchen starring Melissa McCarthy.

It was recently said that Justice League 2 has been pushed back.

Chantal Nong has been with WB since 2011 and has worked on the remake of A Star is Born, Crazy Rich Asians, Godzilla and 300: Rise of an Empire.
