It’s claimed that Daredevil: Born Again in part deals with corrupt police using the Punisher logo, echoing real-world “concerns” and further confirming my Comic-Con insiders.
It’s known that Jon Bernthal is set to return as The Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again, so perhaps The Punisher gets involved when he realizes corrupt police officers are using his logo in the wrong way.
If legit, we see the story mirrors the real world as it is known various members of the military and police organizations favor the use of The Punisher skull logo, which left-wingers hate (left-wing reviewers gave Season 1 of The Punisher on Netflix negative reviews).
It’s thought as a result, Marvel Comics actually changed their Punisher logo into what I think resembles parts of a female to spite the military, the police, and the “right-wing” crowd.
What does the Daredevil Born Again Punisher rumor say?
The rumor again comes via the CanWeGetSomeToast Twitter account which just said episodes of the series will not feature Daredevil but only Charlie Cox as lawyer Matt Murdock.
The account has since added in another tweet, “Yes, Daredevil: Born Again puts a focus on what Matt can do as a lawyer and what Kingpin can do as Mayor of New York.”
Regarding The Punisher, the account says, “But when corrupt police start to misuse The Punisher’s logo, the Devil inside Matt is itching to be unleashed.”

MCU’s Daredevil mirroring Trump, military and police using Punisher logo
So we see the series will also be about Daredevil vs the Police.
My insiders told me the show is a disaster, which judging from these recent rumors is 100% true.
Daredevil: Born Again doesn’t feature episodes with Daredevil probably to save on the budget, and now we see the police are the bad guys. Good luck.

Again, good luck to the series, as it appears Daredevil: Born Again will feature the villain Kingpin winning the election (obviously a reference to Trump) and that Kingpin has a group of corrupt police officers under his wing that favor the use of the Punisher skull logo.
Jon Bernthal previously said he was hesitant to join the MCU due to Punisher being so serious, and it is known Bernthal is a big supporter of the military and such, so let’s just hope the actor hasn’t sold out.
