Batman vs. Superman Doomsday Concept Art More Like The Comics

Batman vs. Superman Doomsday concept art has finally hit the net that resembles the comic book version.

Artist Jerad S.Marantz posted the new images which look more in line with what comic books fans have come to know from the “Death of Superman” storyline.

Why Zack Snyder went in a different direction for Batman vs. Superman is anyone’s guess, but this reminds me of what Bryan Singer did to Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse as concept designs also revealed a much better similar design to the comic book version, but for whatever reason Singer went with the poor look that ended up in the movie.

The final version of Doomsday in Batman vs. Superman is being compared to a Troll from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and what also pretty much sucks is that Snyder using Doomsday (and killing Superman way too early) means we’ll never see a Death of Superman-based movie.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’m not a fan at all of what Snyder has done with Superman. He’s ruining the character.
