The Batman now filming; Robert Pattinson reveal may come soon

Director Matt Reeves has started filming The Batman in London where set pics revealed a look at the characters of both Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell, who is thought to possibly be playing Emperor Penguin, the once right hand to the original Penguin.

Warner Bros. has yet to reveal an official look at Robert Pattinson as Batman or Bruce Wayne, but since it has been reported the Batmobile will be used for filming in in Glasgow, Scotland, which is being used for Gotham City, it’s speculated that Warner Bros. will reveal something official soon.

Users on social media also think Robert Pattinson looks a bit bulkier and that he may be wearing baggier clothes to hide his new Batman look from the general public. A few weeks ago there was that rumor that offered the actor was having trouble packing on the pounds for the role which was supposed to lead to a delay in filming.

I suppose these latest images do show Pattinson looking slightly more muscular, and one thing the actor has going for him is his chiseled look; I’m sure he’ll look really good in the new Batsuit, which Pattinson has said is “very, very cool.”

The Batman has a June 25, 2021 release directed by Matt Reeves, co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, Michael Giacchino is scoring the music, and the film also stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jayme Lawson as Bella, and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, with Peter Sarsgaard in an unknown role thought to be Two-Face.

Rumors also offer Matt Hatter, Firefly and even Poison Ivy are yet to be cast, as Reeves is said to be adapting the fan-favorite DC Comics “The Long Halloween” storyline.
