Avengers: Doomsday A Dud? Scooper Has ‘Almost Zero Interest’

The Avengers: Doomsday chatter keeps piling up, but not all of it is positive.

Scooper ThwipT posted on X that the things he’s heard about the movie haven’t impressed him so far, and he’s hoping the upcoming trailer can turn that around.

Avengers: Doomsday Wraps: Expect Massive Reshoots

“I Have Almost 0 Interest”

Here’s exactly what ThwipT said:

“Based on everything I know about this film I hate to say it but I have almost 0 interest. Hopefully the trailer gets me excited and changes my mind.”

The X user didn’t elaborate on the details why Avengers: Doomsday isn’t impressing, but the reaction adds to the many rumors surrounding the film.

Some scoopers are hyping massive multiverse setups and Battleworld, while others are shooting down various characters said to be in the movie. At the same time, social media is being flooded with what looks to be fake AI images.

Interest Levels Are Split

Fans are already divided on Doomsday. Some are buying into the leaked concepts — multiple Earths colliding, heavy Cyclops and Summers-family focus, and Patrick Stewart’s final Professor X appearance. Others think Marvel is leaning too hard on the multiverse and variants and think it will be similar to Endgame with more fan service.

And now you have insiders publicly saying they’re not sold either.

All Eyes on the Trailer

The first Doomsday trailer is rumored to screen with Avatar: Fire and Ash in December. That reveal may be Marvel’s chance to reset expectations and pull back hesitant fans who aren’t convinced by the leaks, the rumors, or the conflicting scoops.

It’s actually claimed Marvel shot thirty different versions: Wouldn’t it be something if Marvel released all 30 teasers in theaters? There are 27 officially announced and confirmed characters, how about a teaser featuring each one?

Update: A rumor says three different versions will be released with Avatar.

If Marvel wants Doomsday to hit like Infinity War, the trailer needs to land big, especially when insiders are already checking out.
