More alleged Avengers: Doomsday images have appeared online, adding new characters into the mix and pushing the leak frenzy even further.
These potential new leaks follow the earlier “leaks” and rumors that Tobey Maguire is returning as Spider-Man, with the latest stating Maguire has been spotted wearing a CGI suit.
Obviously, these could be fakes, but worth a mention is that they “passed” an AI image detector test.
The latest batch includes polished white-background shots of Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Shang-Chi, Loki, Captain Marvel, and others.
The images look like finished promo materials rather than rough behind-the-scenes photos, which has led to even stronger doubts about their authenticity.
Polished Character Images Raise New Questions
The new pictures show full costumes, studio lighting, clean posing, and VFX elements that look like official character renders. Doom is shown in detailed armor with a dark green cloak. Spider-Man appears in a modernized suit striking a familiar pose.
There are clean shots of Doctor Strange generating spell effects, Loki holding his scepter, Shang-Chi with glowing rings, and multiple versions of Captain Marvel.
The polished style doesn’t match the earlier rougher leaks, which featured makeup tests, blue-screen setups, and unfinished prosthetics. This shift in presentation is why fans are beginning to treat these new images as highly questionable.
Captain Marvel’s Presence Fuels Doubts
Nerdrotic previously noted that Brie Larson and Captain Marvel are not in Avengers: Doomsday, based on what he’s been told. That alone would make the new images suspicious, since Captain Marvel appears in the batch.
Fans have also pointed out that the lighting, posing, and composition look similar to AI-enhanced promo shots.
While the designs are detailed, the consistency across characters has people wondering if these are high-level fan creations or intentionally released fakes.
Possible Secret Wars Material?
There’s also speculation that the images might not be tied to Avengers: Doomsday at all. Some believe they could be early or unused material for Secret Wars, which is expected to bring in a massive roster of heroes and villains from across different Marvel universes.
The idea isn’t far-fetched, especially since Marvel Studios concept art often circulates internally long before production begins on a film.

Disney has used the Avatar films as launch pads for major trailers before, so fans aren’t ruling it out. If true, the marketing cycle for Doomsday is about to start soon, which would explain the sudden wave of leaks, real or fake.
