It turns out those rumors that Amber Heard was fired from Aquaman 2 were correct, but now it is learned she was saved by Elon Musk.
Over three years ago saw it said that Amber Heard had been fired from Aquaman 2, with the rumors originating from the Johnny Depp stans.
Deleted tweets from 2020, said, “That reporter is still trying to hit me up. She said that she saw my older update about Amber Heard being fired, and asked where I heard that from. My answer: Crickets.”
Another added, “Lemme break it down. Amber Heard was paid by WB to piss off. If you know anything about sports consider it as the team not picking up that second year option on a player. So all the wording about ‘fired, recast, not returning’ choose whichever you want. She’s out.”
“Bahahaha. So neither Jason or Wan want her back,” said another Depp fan using the #AmberHeardIsFired hashtag.
James Wan didn’t want Amber Heard back
While we all know due to the recent trailer that Amber Heard hasn’t been fired from Aquaman 2, she actually was let go from the sequel but then brought back.
In Variety‘s report on how Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is such a disaster, notes from Heard’s therapist have made their way online from the trial.
The notes offer insights into the filming of the sequel where Amber Heard says, “Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too.”
Variety adds that sources filled them in that director James Wan decided not to bring back Amber Heard following the first movie citing the lack of chemistry she had with Jason Momoa, something the former head of DC films, Walter Hamada, also testified to at the Johnny Depp trial.
It’s said things got so far as WB sending a letter to Amber Heard’s attorney informing the attorney of the decision not to bring back Amber Heard for Aquaman 2.
Variety offers that the sources emphasized removing Amber Heard from the sequel “was unrelated to Depp and took place before he filed suit against the actress in 2019.”
Variety also says Jason Momoa was not involved in the decision-making.
Thank Elon Musk
Regarding why Amber Heard never ended up getting removed from Aquaman 2? Elon Musk.
Variety reports:
Ultimately, the studio never pulled the trigger on firing Heard because her former boyfriend, Elon Musk, had one of his litigators send a “scorched-earth letter to Warner Bros. threatening to burn the house down” if the actress wasn’t brought back for a sequel, says a source familiar with the behind-the-scenes battle. Warner Bros. caved and moved forward with Heard. (Musk did not respond to a request for comment.)
Just recently saw an Elon Musk biographer reveal that Musk flew to Australia in April 2017 to visit Heard while she was filming Aquaman.
The biographer also revealed Elon Musk commissioned Amber Heard to cosplay as Mercy, from the video game Overwatch, which saw Musk tweet the following:
