Pedro Pascal is apparently assembling as the new leader of the Avengers in the MCU, as confirmed by Fantastic Four director Matt Shakman.
The Thunderbolts movie also confirmed a team of New Avengers and let’s not forget the post-credit scene ties into Doomsday, something Kevin Feige has teased might not be exactly what it seems.

Reed Richards the Next Avengers Leader
While promoting the release of the FF movie, Shakman filled in Variety how Reed was the most challenging role to cast.
“He goes from being the nerdy scientist who’s locked away in the lab, to the husband and the father who’d do anything to protect his family, to the guy who’s leading the Avengers,” Shakman says. “I realized that the version we were building had to have all of those elements.”
What actually remains to be seen if whether Reed is the leader of the Avengers or if Vanessa Kirby becomes the leader, as it has been said Sue Storm is actually the leader in the Fantastic Four film.

Regarding Avengers: Doomsday, the movie and Pedro Pascal and the rest of the FF cast have been filming in the UK.
