No surprise here as it is learned Netflix has canceled the Resident Evil series after one Season.
The news only comes a month and a half after the series debuted in July, so we see Netflix made the decision really quick.
Again the cancellation doesn’t come as a surprise as it was really bad, and both the critics and fans can agree.
Over at Rotten Tomatoes, the Resident Evil series has a 55% Rotten from critics and only a 27% approval from the Audience Score, with IMDb giving it a 3.9 out of 10.
Deadline tries to spin things that the cancellation is in part due to not getting enough views and not making the Top 10 because of Stranger Things 4, but as I previously wrote, the Resident Evil series just had awful writing and is full of woke content. Seems most fans agree with me as does Netflix.

Resident Evil full of woke content
Resident Evil intentionally doesn’t star any white dudes, and it intentionally features two woke teen girls that are able to all kick all kinds of ass. All this isn’t by accident.
They talk down upon all-white neighborhoods and how the white boys are stupid. What else? The girls are vegan and pro-animal rights and against hunting. All this in the first couple of episodes.
Of course, all the men in the show are bad including the race-swapped father (Lance Reddick’s Albert Wesker), and the zombies are mostly made up of white dudes, with the series mentioning things like COVID and Elon Musk.
Is it any wonder why it got canceled and all the woke content continues to get canceled and Hollywood is moving away from this garbage?
Resident Evil is a typical example of injecting a forced political agenda into the content which sacrifices the story.
It’s a shame, too, because the show could have been decent, but as we have seen from Hollywood time and time again, they don’t care about quality content at all, but more about virtue signaling and lecturing the audience about the politically correct narrative they want to push. Not working.
