Daredevil: Born Again has closed out Season 2 the same way it opened Season 1, missing Nielsen entirely.
The latest Nielsen streaming originals chart covers May 4-May 10, 2026, the week the Season 2 finale was available. The Disney+ Marvel series is, once again, nowhere to be found.
That brings the full run of Daredevil: Born Again to a perfect 0-for-17 with the ratings service. Across the entirety of Season 1 and all of Season 2, every single episode available to Nielsen has failed to crack the Top 10 originals list.
Note: Nielsen tracking is automatically turned on in Disney+ accounts, and is the go-to standard for viewership ratings.

The Finale Got No Nielsen Bump
Series finales typically generate a viewing spike — the catch-up binge, the “I need to see how it ends” surge that pushes a show onto the chart even if it had been sitting just below the cutoff. Daredevil: Born Again got none of that.
Nielsen’s latest chart is topped by Prime Video’s The Boys with 1.048 billion minutes watched, followed by Netflix’s Man on Fire with 840 million minutes. At the bottom of the chart is Peacock’s M.I.A. with 334 million minutes.
That means the finale week needed to clear just 334 million minutes to chart, a lower bar than the show faced for its premiere (449 million) and lower than most of the season.
On what should have been its biggest week, with one of the easiest paths to the chart it ever had, Daredevil: Born Again still couldn’t get there.
The lack of any finale bump suggests fans aren’t binge-watching the series and weren’t racing to the finish. For a Marvel Disney+ series built around a fan-favorite character, that is a hard trend to ignore.

All 17 Episodes Have Failed To Chart
The finale miss closes out the same pattern that defined the entire run.
Combined, Season 1’s nine episodes and Season 2’s eight episodes have now gone 0-for-17 with Nielsen, not a single appearance on the Top 10 originals list across two full seasons.
For the full week-by-week breakdown with every episode’s numbers, see our Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Nielsen tracker.
The Nielsen misses also align with the previously reported Luminate data, showing the series lost roughly half its audience , and at one point left the show performing worse than Echo, previously Marvel’s lowest-rated Disney+ effort.
What It Means For The Franchise
Despite the ratings, Marvel is pressing ahead with Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, which is currently filming and is expected to bring back more street-level Marvel characters.
Whether two full seasons of zero Nielsen charting changes anything about how Marvel positions the show is its own bigger question.
