The cast of Legendary’s upcoming Street Fighter movie continues to tease their roles, and now Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has given fans the first look at his preparation to play Balrog.
50 Cent’s Balrog Training
On Instagram (watch below), 50 Cent posted a video of himself training as a boxer, showing off his punches, footwork, and conditioning. He captioned the clip:
“I don’t expect you to understand my level of discipline but watch it, it’s entertaining. Street Fighter coming soon, then Street Fighter II BALROG @50centaction All roads lead to Shreveport.”
The post has fans buzzing, as Balrog — introduced in Street Fighter II — is a former boxer turned enforcer for M. Bison’s Shadaloo criminal organization.

Balrog in Street Fighter
Balrog is known for his heavy-hitting punches, aggressive style, and being one of the strongest but least disciplined fighters in the series. He’s a fan favorite for players who like pure boxing mechanics in the games.
50 Cent’s physicality and larger-than-life persona make him a natural fit for the character, especially given his background in entertainment and past work as a fighter in his music videos and films.
