WrestleMania 42 Officially Returns To Las Vegas

Confirming the rumors, WWE announced that WrestleMania 42 will return and take place in Las Vegas.

The announcement came during WWE Money in the Bank 2025 just before the feature match between Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs. John Cena & Logan Paul.

Triple H announces WrestleMania 42

WWE released a promo video featuring CCO Paul Levesque, aka Triple H, announcing the news.

In my experience, anything worth doing is worth doing twice,” said Levesque. “So I got just one question for ya: are you ready to double down?

Fans can pre-register

A QR code was included linking to WWE.com where fans can pre-register for further information and pre-sales about WrestleMania 42.

WrestleMania 42 takes place Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026.

WrestleMania 42 will be held again in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium.

The event was originally set to take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WrestleMania 41: most successful ever

The news of the WWE returning to Las Vegas follows WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas being the most successful ever. The two-night show set new records in attendance, viewership, merchandise sales, sponsorship, and social media engagement.

124,693 fans attended across two nights. The event has the largest gate in WWE history.  WWE’s On Location sales also jumped 75% from the previous year.

WrestleMania 41 was also the most-watched WrestleMania in WWE history, up 114% from WrestleMania XL. Peacock and WWE YouTube both hit record highs.

Merchandise sales rose over 45% compared to WrestleMania XL. Ecommerce saw an 86% increase year-over-year.  A record 28 brand partners participated, generating an all-time high revenue for a WWE event.

WrestleMania 41 also generated 1.1 billion social views, with the Sunday event marking WWE’s highest single-day YouTube traffic ever.
