A new look from Wonder Woman 1984 of Gal Gadot wearing the new Golden Armor has been released.
The image below looks to be from the scene where she swoops in and takes out the soldiers and then battles Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah.
From the look on the face of Gal Gadot in the image, this could be right when Cheetah shows up in the scene to attack her.
No spoilers, but somehow both Chris Pine returning as Steve Trevor and Kristen Wiig transforming into Cheetah might be related, and it might be related to the villain of the movie, played by Star Wars The Mandalorian actor Pedro Pascal, who is probably happy he gets to show his face in the movie, as it has been reported Pascal walked off the Season 2 set of The Mandalorian over having to always wear a helmet (this is the way).
WarnerMedia also announced that Wonder Woman 1984 will get released in theaters and on HBO Max (at no additional charge) at the same time on Christmas Day.
The decision has generated a lot of controversy, especially for movie theaters that are really hurting due to the coronavirus fears shutting down everything, but at least it’s a win for the fans as they will finally get to see the flick. It’s been reported Wonder Woman 1984 completed filming way back in 2018, so it’s about time it does get released.
“THE TIME HAS COME. At some point you have to choose to share any love and joy you have to give, over everything else. We love our movie as we love our fans, so we truly hope that our film brings a little bit of joy and reprieve to all of you this holiday season,” director Patty Jenkins said in a statement about the simultaneous release. “Watch it IN THEATERS, where it is made safe to so so (check out the great work theaters have done to make it so!) And available in the safety of your home on HBOMAX where it is not. Happy holidays to all of you. We hope you enjoy our film as much as we enjoyed making it.”
