Tim Burton Confirms Winona Ryder Will Return For Beetlejuice 2

Tom Burton not only says Beetlejuice 2 is happening, but the director also says Winona Ryder is returning for the sequel.

Speaking with MTV, Burton says, “Oh yeah,” when questioned if he is directing Beetlejuice 2.

When asked about if Winona Ryder has a part, Burton offers an enthusiastic, “Oh yeah, yeah yeah yeah.”

Regarding the return of Michael Keaton, Keaton previously stated if Burton returns, he will too, and now Burton offers some further promising news.

“There is only one Beetlejuice for sure. And [the script is] pretty good. I haven’t yet spoken to him because he is out on his awards campaign, so I can’t get to him now,” Burton joked. “As I worked with him several times, to go from Beetlejuice to Batman, is quite a big range. I know he’s got the range; so it’s great.”
