Rumors have offered Cavill is really busy so that would mean his return to Superman would be a ways off, but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.

With Cavill departing The Witcher we can guess that must mean his return as Superman is getting fast-tracked.

We can guess the actor will be back wearing the cape soon as Dwayne Johnson has talked about it, the Black Adam producers have stated a sequel is ready to go, and recently saw the big news that James Gunn is in charge of the new DCU.

The news also follows Man of Steel 2 being in early development and rumors of Cavill appearing in Justice League 2.

Cavill is also starring in the  World War II action spy movie The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare with Eiza Gonzalez directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Top Gun producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

So we see he wouldn’t have time to do all these projects if he continued with The Witcher which films overseas and has a demanding production schedule.
