Star Wars: Starfighter has officially wrapped filming, with director Shawn Levy confirming the news and signaling that the movie now moves into post-production.
Shawn Levy Announces The Wrap
Levy took to Instagram to share that cameras have stopped rolling on Star Wars: Starfighter.
He posted a black-and-white photo of himself sprinting through a curved tunnel and captioned it, “That’s a wrap! Headed into #Starfighter post-production like…”
The image fits the tone he’s been setting for the film: high-energy, practical, and focused on movement and physical action.
Starfighter Heads Into Post-Production
With production complete, the Star Wars: Starfighter team now turns to editing, visual effects, sound, and scoring.
The movie is billed as a standalone story set about five years after The Rise of Skywalker, following new characters in a fresh corner of the galaxy rather than the Skywalker Saga.
