Director Shawn Levy has given fans their first official look at Star Wars: Starfighter, posting a behind-the-scenes image of Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray on set.

Cast and Production

Star Wars: Starfighter stars Ryan Gosling, Amy Adams, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Flynn Gray.

Smith and Goth are said to play villains, while Gray was cast after a lengthy search for the film’s young lead.

The movie is directed by Levy, who also produces alongside Kathleen Kennedy. Jonathan Tropper wrote the script, with Gosling, Dan Levine, Mary McLaglen, and Josh McLaglen serving as executive producers.

Release Date

Production is underway in the U.K., with Star Wars: Starfighter scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, 2027.
