I imagine a lot of studios have something similar, but some Twitter users have announced they are a part of a Star Wars story group that will have a hand in all the different forms of media related to the new Disney Lucasfilm.
I suppose if you have ideas of your own or an opinion about something, you can tweet your way in these guys’ direction.
It’s announced that the group will be dealing with Star Wars canon. I belive that previously George Lucas handled all that and said only the movies were canon (not the books, games etc).
Looks like that is changing.
@pauldunahoo @rwknopp Star Wars Canon is now determined by the Lucasfilm Story Group which @infinata and I are both a part of.

@A_Targaryen Story Group has a hand in all facets of Star Wars storytelling, including movies, TV, games, and publishing.

@StephenVincent More so than ever, the canon field will serve us internally simply for classification rather than setting hierarchy.

@12MG12 @StephenVincent That’s definitely a primary goal of the Story Group.

@theonlysanz That I can’t say.
