Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Rotten Tomatoes Is In!

Reviews are in for Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as its Rotten Tomatoes score comes in at a present 99%!

Sony’s new animated Spidey film currently has 104 Fresh reviews to one 1 Rotten review; the audience score isn’t available yet, but 93% of the people want to see it.

It seems Sony was right in announcing the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated sequel and spinoff ahead of time, as the film seems it will be a huge hit.

The sequel has been said to be continuing the further adventures of Miles Morales, with the spinoff being a “Spider-Women” animated flick possibly featuring Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, Spider-Girl, Madame Web and Silk.

News of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse being a potential success follows the Venom movie being a massive hit for Sony as it has passed $820 million at the box office, with a sequel featuring Carnage in the works as well, in addition to the Jared Leto Morbius the Living Vampire movie set to start filming at the start of the new year.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a December 14, 2018 release directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman featuring the voice talent of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Velez, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, with Nicolas Cage and Liev Schreiber.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Producers include Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Christina Steinberg, with the executive producers including the late Stan Lee, Brian Michael Bendis and Will Allegra.
