Marvel’s next big movie just might be Captain America: Brave New World and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins thinks the flick will be “pretty cool.”
With Deadpool 3 getting pulled from Marvel’s release schedule it has been said Captain America: Brave New World might get pushed up from July and take the May 3, 2024 release date. If that happens, CA4 will be up next from the MCU following The Marvels.
Way back in May saw the big surprise that Seth Rollins joined the cast, as Captain America: Brave New World set photos and video revealed the wrestler in action along with a look at Anthony Mackie’s new Captain America suit.
While speaking with Mythical Kitchen on YouTube, Rollins spoke about Captain America: Brave New World when he was asked about playing a villain in the movie.
“Nope, can’t do that! Can’t tell you nothing about that,” said Rollins. “It was a really good experience and I think it’s going to be pretty cool. I think our audience is going to love it. I think their audience is going to love it, so it was a cool crossover to be able to jump into some totally different skin and try a new thing out for me.”
Hopes fans like his character
Rollins was also asked if Hollywood is going to be a big part of his future (as he could follow the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Dave Bautista, and John Cena).
“I’m not comfortable…like, look, I’m 38. I’ve only been doing wrestling for 20 years. Only, nonstop. That’s it. I worked in like crappy restaurants and a carwash when I was in my early 20s, and that’s it. Other than that all I’ve done is wrestling, so anytime I get out of my comfort zone I am nervous. I’m like ‘I suck at this, I don’t know what I’m doing,’ but I was in good hands and it was a really fun experience. and I’m excited to see how it turns out.”
Rollins also adds that he is well aware of the Marvel fandom.
“Hopefully everyone doesn’t hate me,” he said. “I don’t want to have ruined everybody’s vision of this character, so I’m doing my best. I hope people enjoy it.”

Regarding just who Seth Rollins is playing, it’s said to be a member of the Serpent Society.
Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah who previously described the film as a paranoid thriller. The film also stars Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez, and Tim Blake Nelson who returns from The Incredible Hulk as Samuel Sterns aka The Leader.
