The Russo Brothers have Marvel fans guessing again after posting a green tease on Instagram, which has already sparked speculation that an Avengers: Doomsday trailer could be incoming.
The post itself is simple. It shows a flat green image, which fans immediately started trying to decode. Some are pointing to the color as a possible Doctor Doom hint. Others think it could be tied to Hulk, Secret Wars, or a trailer countdown.
Adding fuel to the fire, the Russos are also set to appear at a special Avengers: Infinity War screening at SXSW London on June 2, 2026.
Update: The symbol in the Russo Brothers’ latest teaser appears to be the Latveria flag, making the tease a direct Doctor Doom reference. Latveria is Doom’s home country in Marvel Comics, which means the post is almost certainly tied to Avengers: Doomsday. Tom Holland also liked one of the posts. The new Avengers: Doomsday trailer could be released on June 2.
The Russos teased a surprise for June 2 at 2pm BST, which is 9am EST.

Russos Post Green Tease On Instagram
The Russo Brothers’ Instagram post quickly blew up, with fans flooding the comments looking for clues.
One fan joked, “Shrek will return in Avengers Doomsday.”
Another wrote, “New rockstars will make a 20 min video explaining this.”
Others started breaking down the RGB color code, trying to connect the numbers to a possible date or Marvel reveal.
The post racked up nearly 95,000 likes in about 11 hours, showing fans are still watching every move from the Avengers: Doomsday directors.
Avengers: Infinity War Screening Set For SXSW London
The tease also comes as the Russos’ production company, AGBO announced a special Avengers: Infinity War screening at SXSW London on June 2, 2026.
The screening will include an extended intro from the Russo Brothers and other special guests.
AGBO posted, “Mr. Stark, we don’t feel so good about how excited we are.”
The timing has fans wondering if Marvel could be planning something bigger around the event. Infinity War was the Russos’ first major Avengers event movie, and with Doomsday now on the way, the screening would be an obvious place to start building hype.
Is An Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Coming?
