Marvel is bringing Avengers: Endgame back to theaters, giving fans another chance to see the Avengers’ final fight against Thanos on the big screen ahead of Avengers: Doomsday.
The Avengers: Endgame re-release begins September 25, 2026.

Endgame’s Massive Box Office Legacy
Released in 2019, Avengers: Endgame became one of the biggest films ever made. It opened with $1.2 billion worldwide — still the largest opening weekend of all time.
Endgame remains the second-highest grossing movie domestically at $858 million, and the second-highest grossing film globally with $2.799 billion.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie closed out the first decade of the MCU, picking up after Avengers: Infinity War as Earth’s mightiest heroes regroup to take down Thanos.

Why Marvel Is Bringing It Back
Marvel’s announcement sets the stage for the next major team-up movie.
The theatrical run arrives only a few months before Avengers: Doomsday releases on December 18, 2026.
With hype building around the next era of Avengers films — including rumors about multiple versions of the Doomsday trailer — Marvel is using Endgame’s return as a lead-in to the studio’s biggest event in years.
