Good news for the Logan movie as Rob Liefeld gives his approval.
Rob Liefeld, known for creating Deadpool and being a superstar comic book artist, took to his Instagram page to share his thoughts on Logan.
I was privileged to see an advanced screening of #LOGAN last week on the Fox lot. I was hoping I would enjoy it so I could promote is as I have always loved the character since his introduction in 1975. So, simply put, LOGAN is not only the best #Wolverine film, itās simply the very best X-Men film ever! It is the most meaningful, resonant and satisfying portrayal of any X-Men character. Jackman and Stewart and Dafne Keen share wonderful chemistry and it truly plays as Little Miss Sunshine in deranged form. The R rating is hard charging, this is the most violent, vicious, relentlessly brutal action Iāve ever seen on film. I gasped multiple times at the sheer graphic nature of the conflicts. X-23 is a revelation, she will be absolutely devoured by the comic book community. She is a force of nature and explodes on screen. My 16 year old son asked me āDid her parents sign off on her doing those things??ā For die-hard comic fans this is a gift. As an action film alone, it is a spectacular ride. James Mangoldās finest directorial effort. Its Unforgiven with Mutants and a dash of Moses. Loved it!!
āLoganā has a March 3, 2017 release directed by James Mangold starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Doris Morgado, Eriq La Salle and Dafne Keen as X-23.
Synopsis:
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Loganās attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.Ā
