Rachel Zegler’s 'Snow White' Box Office Tracking For Potential Bomb

Box office disaster

Snow White has been a massive flop for Disney at the box office. It only made $86.1 million domestically and another $114.4 million from foreign gross. It barely cracked $200 million worldwide.

The budget has also said to be $270 million, so Snow White has lost Disney at least $100 million (studios don’t get 100% of ticket sales).

Snow White‘s major failure is also believed to be why Disney is scrapping future live-action remakes of animated classics.

A Disney producer’s son also blasted Rachel Zegler for Snow White flopping due to her controversial comments.

What’s next for Rachel Zegler?

The actress just celebrated her 24th birthday on Saturday. She recent starred in Romeo & Juliet where she is up for a Broadway.com Audience Award nomination.

Zegler is also set to star as Eva Perón in Evita, a revival of the 1978 Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical, in London. However, ticket sales look to be even worse than Snow White.

Recently saw the announcement that Rachel Zegler will be returning to the big screen in a low budget indie flick also starring Marisa Tomei, with She Gets It From Me. Zegler will play the daughter of a pill-popping ex-punk rocker mom, played Marisa Tomei, where they embark on an anarchic mother-and-daughter journey to reconnect.
