It’s going from bad to worse for Disney as now it’s claimed that Rachel Zegler is “out of control.”
Recently reports have said Disney is clamping down on the UK and U.S. premieres for Snow White following the controversies surrounding both Zegler and Gal Gadot. Rachel Zegler has been outspoken about the original movie, and she also happens to support Palestine, while Gadot supports Israel.
Disney doesn’t know what to do
The latest is from the New York Post‘s Page Six where the outlet says insiders offer working with Rachel Zegler has been a disaster:
“Disney’s lead actress is out of control. They don’t know what to do … she’s an outspoken 20-something and Disney chiefs have called her directly and asked her to tone down her posts. They’ve called her management, but she won’t listen.”
“It’s been this way the entire way through filming. But it’s the tying of her politics to ‘Snow White’ that is upsetting.”
Family of Disney animator David Hand not happy
Page Six also spoke with the family of Disney animator David Hand who said they aren’t happy with Disney ruining Snow White with the woke agenda, so much so they won’t even buy a ticket for the movie. David Hale Hand, son of David Hand, said his father and Walt Disney would be “[rolling] in their graves”:
“The original was the way it should be. From what I’ve read, [the new film] bears no reflection to the original story. It’s so far off base that it’s ridiculous.”
Disney destroyed Snow White
David Hale Hand’s wife, Sandra, also added Disney has destroyed Snow White:
“They’ve taken it and moved into the politics of what is woke … They’re taking a beautiful and beautifully drawn story and destroying what was ‘Snow White.’ Why can’t they just leave it alone instead of coming up with a different story — make it a totally different character? David’s father took so much pride in the film and he would say, ‘What have you done?’”
