Paul McCartney Joins Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales Cast

After wrapping, it’s learned that Disney is going to shoot an extra scene for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales.

The info comes from Deadline who mentions it’s not for a reshoot, but rather for another scene.

Details on Paul McCartney’s character in the movie are unknown, but we can probably speculate it’s for a pirate.

This isn’t the first time Pirates of the Caribbean featured a musical entertainer as Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards played Captain Teague, Jack Sparrow’s father, in On Stranger Tides.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales has a May 26, 2017 release directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg starring Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin R. McNally, Stephen Graham, Brenton Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario, David Wenham, and Golshifteh Farahani.

Synopsis:

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
