Netflix released a teaser trailer for the Tomb Raider the Legend of Lara Croft animated series starring Hayley Atwell as the titular character.
The series picks up immediately after the events of the Survivor Trilogy video games—Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

What is Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft about?
Per Netflix, Lara Croft, now more determined than ever, chooses to leave her friends behind and embark on increasingly dangerous solo missions. However, when a powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with a mysterious personal connection, Lara (voiced by Hayley Atwell) is compelled to return home. Her relentless quest to recover the artifact will lead her on a globe-trotting adventure, delving into ancient tombs and confronting her deepest fears. Along the way, Lara must face the ultimate question: What kind of hero does she truly want to be?
The voice cast also includes Allen Maldonado as Zip, and Earl Baylon reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the video game.
From Legendary Television, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is executive produced and written by Tasha Huo (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Red Sonja). Executive producers include dj2 Entertainment founder and CEO Dmitri M. Johnson (Sonic the Hedgehog, Life is Strange), along with Timothy I. Stevenson; Jacob Robinson (Skull Island) under his company Tractor Pants; and Dallas Dickinson and Noah Hughes for Crystal Dynamics; as well as Howard Bliss and Jen Chambers. Powerhouse Animation is the animation studio, with Brad Graeber serving as executive producer.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft premiers on Netflix on Oct. 10.
