Deadpool Is Happening The Right Way Says Ryan Reynolds (Video)

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18885:]]

We get to hear Ryan Reynolds’ thoughts on the Deadpool movie as the actor recently spoke with MTV.

“I’m waiting for your Deadpool question,” Reynolds joked with MTV. “Yeah, I knew it was coming.”

‘Yes it is,” Reynolds responded when told it’s actually happening. “The budget isn’t what we hoped. This is the suit,” Reynolds continued to joke.

“It’s been a long time. It’s happening the right way. That’s all that matters,” Reynolds continued. “We don’t have the kind of money that most superheroes do. That’s great, actually. Necessity is the mother of invention. That’s why we get the movie we want to make.”

MTV then mentions Green Lantern stating there were some ups and downs.

“Yes, there were some downs,” Reynolds remarked with a laugh.

“You got to just have faith with the people you are working with,” Reynolds said when asked if there was any fear of failing again. “You have to have faith in the prep, and that’s all I’m doing. On this one, the prep has been eleven years, so you like to think you put your best foot forward. We’ll see.”

Ryan Reynolds also comments on the leaked Deadpool footage, which is what seems to have sparked renewed interest in the Deadpool movie and got Fox to greenlight the film.

“Yeah, I would have leaked that footage myself. No. I would have Fox’s lawyers so far up my ass, they could smell Wade Wilson’s feet. No, I didn’t leak it, but I would have. Looking back now. In a heart beat. I should just go home and scan the old hard drive and see what I got in there.”

Deadpool has a February 12, 2016 release and begins filming this March.

Following news that Sony will be possibly filming Sinister Six in Vancouver, a Sinister Six teaser image has been found as well.

Sony Brazil posted the following Sinister Six image a couple of weeks ago on Facebook, which reads (translated): “We have plans for you.”

Accompanying the image was the following text (translated): “many plans. #Spiderman”

There has been mention of Spider-Man going back to Marvel in Sony leaked e-mails, but most recently Sony and Marvel both shot down the rumor.

With the mention that Sony is looking to film Sinister Six in Vancouver and now Sony Brazil releasing the teaser image with mention of Spider-Man, it seems likely Sony is moving forward with Sinister Six, and possibly also will retain the rights to Spider-Man.

Tyrese Gibson “Committed” To Playing Green Lantern

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18881:]]

Yesterday saw Tyrese Gibson post an image of himself as John Stewart Green Lantern that a fan created, which went viral.

Now Gibson has posted a second fan-created image and stated he again wants to play Green Lantern.

“I am fully committed to suiting up for this adventure,” Gibson posted on his Instagram as well as including the Green Lantern oath. “In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power, Green Lantern’s light!!!”

Warner Bros. did announce a new Green Lantern movie, but not for another five years, to be released in 2020.

It’s thought we’ll get to see a new Green Lantern in either Justice League Part 1 (2017) or Part 2 (2020). Maybe Zack Snyder will even include a Justice League Easter Egg in Batman Vs. Superman?

The inclusion of Green Lantern brings up the question of where was the Green Lantern Corps when the Kryptonians, led by General Zod, attacked Earth? If Batman has already been around, is it safe to assume Earth has been protected by the Green Lantern Corps for some time? It will be interesting to see how/if Zack Snyder explains it.

Amy Adams Has One Scene With Ben Affleck In Batman Vs. Superman

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18876:]]

Amy Adams recently discussed playing Lois Lane in Batman Vs. Superman where she revealed she has only one scene with new Batman Ben Affleck.

“I was only in one scene with him, I think I’m allowed to say that,” Adams said, reports The Telegraph. “So I didn’t get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic.”

Adams also says Ben Affleck as Batman and Bruce Wayne will be different than any of the previous incarnations.

“He is going to be his own unique thing. He’s got a wonderful quality and a great body of work,” she said.

Amy Adams continues with mention of working on the movie and with some of the cast.

“It should be a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun for me,” Adams offered. “We’re not allowed to speak about it, but I just want to tell everybody everything. I’ve spoken about working briefly with Gal [Gadot] as Wonder Woman and Ben as Batman and had a wholly positive experience. And teaming up with Zack [Snyder], Henry [Cavill] and Lawrence Fishburne again is so much fun. I like playing Lois, it’s a real privilege for me. I never really expected it.

“I can’t wait to see it. Just the part I’ve seen looks really exciting,” Adams said.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Margot Robbie Talks Harley Quinn, Joker & Suicide Squad (Video)

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18874:]]

Margot Robbie is set to play Harley Quinn and join the Suicide Squad.

MTV recently caught up with the actress to get her thoughts on playing the part.

“Yeah, I guess it’s intimidating because there’s obviously a lot of people I want to please, and a character I have to do justice,” Robbie said, “but it’s a challenge, I’m definitely up for it, and hopefully I don’t disappoint.”

Margo Robbie is also asked if she knows the voice of Harley Quinn (as Tara Strong is strongly associated with voice of the character).

“We haven’t gotten too far into it, we’re still pretty far off…” Robbie continued. “I’m actually shooting a movie before that, so my focus is kind of on that at the moment, we haven’t really gotten into the logistics of everything yet.”

Margot Robbie also comments on Jared Leto getting cast as the new Joker.

“Great, great co-star,” Robbie said. “Big shoes to fill, but he going to do his best.”

Suicide Squad has an August 6, 2016 release directed by David Ayer.

Robert Downey Jr. Teases Captain America: Civil War

Robert Downey Jr. has taken to his Facebook page to tease Captain America: Civil War.

The actor posted the following image which features the Marvel heroes fighting each other.*

“Me vs Hawkeye hardly seems fair,” Robert Downey Jr. added.

Captain America: Civil War follows the Marvel Comics comic book storyline that sees hero vs. hero with Captain America and Iron Man on opposite sides. While in the comics, the government required heroes to register their secret identities, it’s thought the movie will be somewhat different as there are really no heroes with secret identities in the Marvel movie universe. Perhaps the government will just require people with superpowers to register themselves, which pits Cap and Iron Man on separate sides.

Captain America: Civil War has a May 6, 2016 release starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

*We are guessing Mr. Downey didn’t notice some of the heroes below are Skrulls, which is from the Marvel Comics event Secret Invasion.

Tao Okamoto Teases Justice League Or Wonder Woman

Tao Okamoto has followed the lead of Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and posted an image of herself with a Batman Vs. Superman t-shirt.

Though official info from WB stated Tap Okamoto is playing a new character for Batman Vs. Superman, Okamoto is also rumored to be playing Mercy Graves, who in the comics is the Amazonian bodyguard to Lex Luthor.

On her Instagram, Tao Okamoto stated, “Day 1 of working out with a personal trainer! My new year’s resolution: good bye to the skinny body!”

It’s possible Tao Okamoto could be in training for either the Justice League movie or even Wonder Woman (or both), especially if she is playing the Amazonian Mercy Graves (Batman Vs. Superman is finished filming).

Tyrese Gibson Rumored As Green Lantern?

Check out what Tyrese Gibson recently posted on Instagram – it’s a fan created image of himself as a Green Lantern.

It’s more than likely Tyrese saw the image and posted it teasing “rumor has it that,” but with Tyrese posting it, it obviously suggests the actor is interested in playing Green Lantern John Stewart.

It’s currently unknown what Zack Snyder is going to do with Green Lantern as it’s thought GL will be rebooted following the poorly received Green Lantern movie in 2011 starring Ryan Reynolds.

A Green Lantern movie is slated for 2020, which is still five years away and could feature either Hal Jordan or John Stewart, or maybe even both. It’s possible we could get a first look at the new Green Lantern in either the Justice League Part 1 movie in 2017 or even Part 2 in 2019.

Rumor has it that.

No Ronan For Guardians of the Galaxy 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18861:]]

Last we saw of Ronan, played by Lee Pace, he was seemingly blown to smithereens at the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

As it is Cosmic, alien beings and infinite artifacts – anything is possible and Ronan could always come back in some way.

Well, it’s learned it won’t be in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as director James Gunn confirmed no Ronan for the sequel.

“Who knows,” Gunn said in regards to Ronan ever showing up again in a Facebook QnA. “But not in 2, no.”

Lee Pace did state in a recent interview he would be up for playing The Accuser again, and Gunn does offer that it’s possible.

“Perhaps someday,” Gunn replied when asked again about Ronan.

James Gunn also stated he wouldn’t be able to use Gladiator due to Marvel not owning the rights to the character.

With Ronan out as being the villain in the sequel, just who is Gunn going to go with?

Marvel Studios Can’t Use Gladiator Or The Shi’ar

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18858:]]

Marvel Cosmic fans won’t be seeing Kallark in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or any other Marvel movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was asked about using Gladiator in which he responded he can’t because Marvel doesn’t own the rights.

“No. Marvel Studios doesn’t own him. Otherwise I’d love to use him,” Gunn responded on Facebook.

Gladiator is a member of the Imperial Guard – belonging to the alien race known as the Shi’ar- which is owned by Fox as a part of the X-Men.

Gladiator first appeared in X-Men #107 and was also used by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning in their Guardians of the Galaxy run that inspired the movie.

It’s too bad Gladiator can’t be used as now we can’t see Rocket Raccoon taking on Marvel’s version of Superman.

“I would love to. It’s a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play,” Eisenberg offered.

Jesse Eisenberg is also said to be in talks to play Lex Luthor in Suicide Squad, which follows Batman Vs. Superman as the next DC movie.

Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.

Avengers 2 Is The Biggest Thing Marvel Has Done Says Paul Bettany

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18853:]]

Paul Bettany is going from voicing Jarvis to playing the Vision in The Avengers 2, and now says it’s the “biggest thing that Marvel have ever done.”

While speaking with the Radio Times, Bettany offered his take on being involved in the movie.

“I’ve never been on a bigger set on my entire life than [Age of Ultron],” Bettany said. “One [part] seemed to be the corner of a town, with helicopter cameras, and drone cameras flying about. I just haven’t seen anything that big, so it was like being a kid on a film set again.”

Paul Bettany recounts being a part of the big Hall H announcement for Avengers 2 at this past Summer’s Comic-Con, and even offers that Samuel L. Jackson was impressed.

“This is the biggest thing Marvel have ever done,” Bettany continued. “It was enormous. I remember, we were at Comic-con, and they showed a portion of the footage, and I was just gobsmacked. And I looked down the row and every one of the Avengers was the same. Including Samuel Jackson – and his whole modus operandi is ‘I’ve seen everything before, I’m the most chilled out, relaxed man and I’ve seen everything…’and he was as knocked out as anyone. It’s huge.”

“The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Paul Bettany as Vision, with James Spader as Ultron.

Synopsis:

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Scoot McNairy Talks Batman Vs. Superman

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18852:]]

The internet was ablaze when the first set images of Scoot McNairy hit the net from Batman Vs. Superman revealing McNairy wearing CGI-socks.

Is Scoot McNairy playing Jimmy Olsen? Nightwing? Jason Todd? Metallo? And what’s with the socks? Does that mean Scoot McNairy’s character is possibly missing his legs (cut off by The Joker)?

While we still don’t know the identify of McNairy’s character, the actor recently spoke with USA Today about Batman Vs. Superman. Obviously Scoot McNairy can’t offer much, but he does offer it was an emotional experience and also lots of fun.

Man, I would love to spend hours with you about it but I don’t know if you’d see me in another movie if I did.”

“It’s definitely 100% a character I’ve never played and I can’t speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character. But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting on it — my head was in a different place but I’m really excited to see how it turns out and what they do with it and see the film.”

More Evidence For Grey Hulk In Avengers 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18851:]]

A couple of days ago saw a grey-colored Hulk toy surface for The Avengers 2 leading to speculation Mr. Fixit could appear in the movie.

Of course, the grey color could just be a variant –  to sell more merchandise – but do we already have evidence of the Grey Hulk in The Avengers 2?

Look no futher than The Avengers 2 trailer as we see what appears to be a grey-colored Hulk fighting Hulkbuster Iron Man.

Internet speculation already has it that Mr. Fixit comes out as a result of Scarlet Witch casting a hex on the Hulk.

We do see Hulk’s eyes appear to be red. Does grey follow? With Tony Stark matching the Hulk’s strength with the Hulkbuster armor, does Grey Hulk outwit (as he is known to do in the comics) Iron Man to defeat him? Or is it just a coloring oddity?
