The latest issue of Total Film Magazine has a featured article on the Justice League movie, which includes comments from director Zack Snyder and information on Cyborg related to the Mother Box.
Regarding Cyborg, it's said there are three Mother Boxes, with the article noting two remain a mystery, but the third Mother Box is actually Cyborg himself. The Cyborg cameo during Batman vs. Superman revealed Cyborg's father healing his son through use of a Mother Box. Here's the blurb from the article:
Not unlike the MCU's Infinity Stones, the League will be chasing a trio of MacGuffins – the powerful Mother Boxes – which were sent to our world and ended up in the possession of the Atlanteans, the Amazonians and mankind, three races represented by the tooled-up trifecta here. The location of two remain a mystery. But we already know what happened to mankind's Mother Box – it's seen imbuing Victor Stone, aka Cyborg, with his incredible abilities in BvS, though the luminscient weapon seen in this image is a new addition to Cyborg's Swiss-army knife body.
Zack Snyder also offers the group's dynamic will reinvigorate the Justice League series of movies:
One of the more rewarding aspects of creating Justice League was having fun exploring the dynamic between this diverse group of larger-than-life characters with disparate backgrounds, ethics, and unique perspectives all trying to come together and work as a team.
It not only offers an opportunity for great drama and complex relationships, but it also often results in great fun. It’s an exciting concept to explore and it only gets better when you add the component of our incredibly talented cast – their chemistry really adds to that dynamic.
"Justice League" has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
