Warner Bros. has another big dud on its hands – at least according to critics – as the first batch of reviews has hit Rotten Tomatoes for A Minecraft Movie, and they’re “rotten.”
The film adapts the popular video game and stars Jack Black as Steve, who teams up with four misfits who are pulled into the world of Minecraft, played by Jason Momoa as “The Garbage Man,” Emma Myers as Natalie, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, and Sebastian Hansen as Henry. Jennifer Coolidge also stars as Vice Principal Marlene.
This blocky world runs on imagination, and to get home, they must learn to survive and defend it from Piglins, Zombies, and other dangers. They team up with Steve (Black), an expert crafter, to complete their quest. Along the way, they’ll rediscover their creativity—the key to thriving both in Minecraft and the real world.

What is the Minecraft movie Rotten Tomatoes score?
With the first 45 reviews, the Minecraft Rotten Tomatoes Score is currently at 53%. The fan score will be available once the film is released, starting with Thursday previews and officially on Friday.

What do the reviews say?
