Marvel’s upcoming Vision series is reportedly cutting corners by making its AI characters appear in human form for most of the show to save on visual effects costs.
The scoop comes from Daniel Richtman and confirms what I told you: the MCU is officially broke.

Returning Androids and AI: But Not How You Remember Them
As noted in earlier leaks, the show is said to be featuring returning androids and AI from the MCU, like Jocasta and EDITH; however, don’t expect them to look robotic.
Instead, this low-budget workaround proves Tony Gilroy was right – Disney+ is broke – and now even Marvel’s most futuristic and sci-fi series is getting the bargain-bin treatment just like Dardevil: Born Again, Agatha, and Echo.
The cast is said to include Paul Bettany (Vision), James Spader (Ultron), T’Nia Miller (Jocasta), Emily Hampshire (E.D.I.T.H.), Kerry Condon (F.R.I.D.A.Y.), James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), with Ruaridh Mollica (Tommy Maximoff / Speed) and Faran Tahir (Raza).
Daniel RPK says Marvel will portray the AI characters in the Vision series as human form throughout the show to cut down on the CGI and VFX expenses. Of course, he spins it the reason is to get the series out ASAP in 2026, but that’s laughable and complete BS.

Tony Gilroy Said Disney+ Is Broke
Tony Gilroy straight-up said Disney blew $650 million on Andor, and now they’re broke. He said while he got his money for the show, Disney told him during the making of Season 2, “Streaming is dead, we don’t have the money we had before.”
True to Gilroy’s words, 24 hours later Disney would announce massive layoffs and cutbacks to its entertainment’s television and film marketing teams.

Budgets slashed, content reduced
Disney CEO Bob Iger also previously confirmed they would be scaling back on both Marvel and Star Wars content. Currently in the works for Star Wars on Disney+ is Ahsoka Season 2.
Marvel has two more expected upcoming bombs including the likely DEI-mandated shows Ironheart and Wonder Man, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is also in the works, with set pics proving how much the budgets have been cut.
