MARVEL Cosmic Invasion just revealed two more playable heroes in its growing roster—Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider—bringing the confirmed total to thirteen.
Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider Join the Battle
In the latest trailer, Marvel confirms that both Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider are joining the fight against Annihilus and the Annihilation Wave. The game features a wide variety of heroes pulled from both cosmic and Earth-based Marvel lore, and these two couldn’t be more different.
- Cosmic Ghost Rider rides into battle on his flaming space-cycle, armed with hellfire and the Power Cosmic. This wild, vengeance-fueled version of the Rider promises to be a high-damage, chaotic playstyle.
- Black Panther, the King of Wakanda, brings speed, precision, and martial arts mastery to the fight. Armed with his vibranium suit and sonic daggers, T’Challa looks built for close-quarters combo action.

Game Overview and Setting
Players will battle through stages set in iconic Marvel locations—from New York City to the Negative Zone—as they try to stop Annihilus’ galactic death march. The game uses a retro pixel-art style and includes a tag-team mechanic where you select two heroes and switch between them during combat.
The gameplay is fast, arcade-style, with both local and online co-op and drop-in/drop-out support.
Release Info
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is being developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu in collaboration with Marvel Games. It’s set for release in 2025 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, and Xbox.
