Mark Hamill Teases Fate of Porgs For Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The Porgs, the little bastards, which are the equivalent of a “Jar Jar Binks” or the “Ewoks” for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, are these cutesy little bird-like creatures Disney obviously added to the movie to sell merchandise.

Similar to Jar Jar and the Ewoks, it was thought the Porgs would be ruining Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but then the good news that apparently Chewbacca eats them as a late night snack.

Now Mark Hamill comments on the fate of the Porgs, as the creatures originate on the planet of Ahch-To, the current home of the last Jedi Knight, Luke Skywalker.

Mark Hamill takes to Twitter to calm Porg sympathizers in that at least they are not on the menu for Luke.

Personally, I hope we see Chewy fry them up, boil them, bake them or do whatever he likes to them as long as they are no longer a part of Star Wars ever again!
