Kevin Feige Confirms His Star Wars Movie Is Canceled

Kevin Feige confirms his Star Wars movie is indeed canceled.

The head of Marvel appeared at the Red Carpet Premiere of The Marvels in Las Vegas where Entertainment Tonight questioned him about his Star Wars movie.

Kevin Feige was developing and producing a Star Wars film for Lucasfilm with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron writing the script.

However, back in March, it was learned that Feige’s Star Wars movie isn’t happening along with the Patty Jenkins Rogue Squadron.

Variety reported back at the time Feige’s Star Wars movie is no longer in active development at Lucasfilm as “Feige’s responsibilities to the MCU are keeping him far, far away from Star Wars for much of the decade.”

What’s up with the Star Wars movie?

At The Marvels Red Carpet Premiere ET questioned, “Okay. My final question for you. What’s up with the Star Wars movie? Is it happening?”

Feige replied, “Any Star Wars movie?”

ET shot back, “Yours…”

Feige simply smiled and replied, “No… Thank you.”

There actually is a recent rumor that Kevin Feige wants to leave Marvel and take over Star Wars, so depending on where your loyalties lie, that can be looked at as either good or bad news.
