With a script by Gangster Squad‘s Will Beall already completed and the hunt currently on for a director, in addition to a recent win regarding the rights to Superman, Warner Bros is looking to move things forward on the Justice League movie rather quickly.
Earlier, a judge ruled in favor of Warner Bros. over a case against the heirs of Superman co-creator Joe Shuster, which seems to have freed up the Justice League movie, according to the LA Times.
“That uncertainty made it difficult for Warner to move ahead with ‘Justice League,’ which the studio’s motion pictures group president, Jeff Robinov, has long wanted to make as a pillar of its big-screen superhero strategy,” states the Times.
The Times goes on to say that Warner Bros. wants to shoot the Justice League movie next year for a 2015 release.
They also go on to note that the ruling makes it possible for Warner Bros. to do sequels to the new Superman movie, from Zack Snyder, Man of Steel.
There is even mention that the Justice League movie will be used to spin off other DC Comics super hero movies, much as we have been told.
And we were even told Henry Cavill will star as Superman in the Justice League movie as well.
