John Wick Experience Las Vegas Review: A Must for Fans

As a big fan of John Wick, I had a blast at the John Wick Experience in Las Vegas.

The biggest thing it gets right is the atmosphere. From the moment you enter, the attention to detail with the bars, rooms, and overall setup makes it feel like you’ve stepped into the world of John Wick.

Located at AREA15, the experience mixes themed environments, live actors, interactive moments, and a couple of cool surprises without going overboard. I won’t spoil anything, but if you like the movies, there is a lot here to appreciate.

I actually felt like I, too, was a super assassin.

It Feels Like John Wick

What stood out the most is how well they captured the vibe of the franchise. You move through different themed rooms, and each one feels like it belongs in the John Wick universe.

A big part of what makes it work is the actors. There are live performers throughout who stay in character and interact with the guests. That was probably the most fun part of the whole thing. It gives the experience energy and makes it feel more than just a walkthrough attraction.

There is also a Las Vegas-themed room that fits the location really well. That section especially stood out and helped make the whole thing feel unique to Vegas.

The Interactive Parts Are the Best

Without giving too much away, the experience does more than just walk you through sets. There are action elements, themed sequences, and moments where you feel like you are part of the story.

That is where the John Wick Experience works best. It is not just something you look at. It pulls you in. If you go in as a fan, that is where you will have the most fun.

We went with a group of eight, and that felt like a really good number. It was enough people to make it lively, but it never felt too packed or crowded.

Get There Early for the Bar

One tip is to get there early. The Continental Bar before the main experience is worth checking out, and it is a good place to hang out and get in the mood before your time slot starts.

The drinks are pricey at around $20, but that is not surprising for something like this in Las Vegas. Still, the bar adds to the fun, and it is worth doing if you have the time.

Another thing to know is they seem to start right around your scheduled time, so don’t plan on showing up late.

The Speakeasy Is Really Cool

You cannot take photos while going through the experience, which makes sense, but once you reach the speakeasy at the end, you are allowed to take pictures and video.

That hidden bar is a nice payoff and one of the cooler parts of the overall setup. It has its own John Wick-style atmosphere and unique drinks and feels like a reward for making it through.

The gift shop is also worth a stop. It has some cool merch, and I ended up grabbing a Continental T-shirt.

The Biggest Problem: It’s Too Short

The biggest complaint is simple. It feels too short.

The total experience seemed to be around 30 minutes, and while the rooms and interactions are really fun, it ended way too fast. At the same time, that is almost a compliment, because we wanted more.

If anything, the short runtime is what keeps it from being an easy all-time immersive experience. The quality is there. It just could have used more of it.

Worth Going Back?

One thing we were left wondering is if the room themes or story elements change from visit to visit. If they do, that would make repeat visits much more appealing.

That said, even without knowing that, we all said we would do it again. That alone says a lot.

AREA15 Adds to the Night

It also helps that the John Wick Experience is located inside AREA15 in Las Vegas. If you have never been, AREA15 is packed with other immersive attractions, bars, shops, and weird cosmic-style visuals all over the place.

So even if the John Wick Experience itself is on the shorter side, it fits into a bigger night out. That adds a lot of value, especially if you are already planning to spend time there.

Final Verdict

If you are a fan of John Wick, you will enjoy it. I loved it.

The sets look great, the live actors make it more fun, and the whole thing does a solid job making you feel like you are inside that universe. The bars, the speakeasy, and the little details all help sell the experience.

The only real downside is that it is short. You will probably walk out wishing there was more. But that is also a sign that they got a lot right.

For John Wick fans visiting Las Vegas, it is definitely worth checking out.
