IT Goes Viral: Watch The Pennywise Dance Videos

We have an IT director’s cut in the works, an IT sequel, and now we have the IT dance viral dance videos!

A scene in the IT movie features Pennywise the Dancing Clown performing a creepy song-and-dance routine for Beverly (Sophia Lillis), and now the internet has taken off with it by adding music to the video and posting on Twitter–where even Stephen King thought of it!

Songs that fans have added to the Pennywise dance routine include “Mambo #5” by Lou Bega. Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” Los Del Río’s “The Macarena,” and more!

It is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennwise the Clown, Finn Wolfhard, Owen Teague, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Steven Williams, Megan Charpentier, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Stephen Bogaert, Ari Cohen, Jack Grazer, Chosen Jacobs and Javier Botet.

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
