Hugh Jackman Jokes Ryan Reynolds Is Looking Green

Hugh Jackman jokes that Ryan Reynolds is “looking a bit green” in response to the Deadpool actor’s video about the Wolverine actor getting an Emmy nomination for Bad Education.

Reynolds said it was “crazy” that Jackman got an Emmy nomination, which saw Jackman respond, “Careful Bub … you’re looking a bit green. (Thank you Television Academy for making this moment possible!) #emmynominee.”

With Ryan Reynolds rumored to return as Green Lantern, the joke comes at what could be just the right time.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds “feud” continues

Hugh Jackman also responded in a video: “I don’t think he’s going to get out of bed for three days. There could be a lot of bitterness and anger seeping through. Just watch it, you know. It’s gonna be a tough day, but good for [Reynolds’ wife] Blake [Lively], just to have him in bed for three days will be a real breakthrough.”

Hugh Jackman received the Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie” for Bad Education, which sees him going up against Jeremy Irons for Watchmen, Paul Mescal for Normal People, Jeremy Pope for Hollywood, and Mark Ruffalo for I Know This Much Is True.

The Jackman and Reynolds “feud” has been going on for quite some time as the two actors regularly jab at each other on social media. Reynolds has also teased he wants Jackman in a Deadpool Wolverine movie.
