Hugh Jackman Calls Out Ryan Reynolds With Wolverine Deadpool Meme

The heated battle between frenemy’s Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds continues as Wolverine and Deadpool are added to the mix.

The Marvel actors have been going back and forth for quite a while busting each other’s chops, with the latest being that, following having been called a fraud by Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman gives Reynolds the one-finger salute courtesy an adamantium Wolverine claw.

“Who you callin’ a fraud?” Hugh Jackman posted on Instagram.

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld can be seen responding in the comments with, “What is this about????????”

What this is all about is that recently saw Ryan Reynolds do an interview with Today Show Australia, where Reynolds “slammed” Hugh Jackman.

“He’s just an evil person,” Reynolds quipped about Jackman, who hails from Australia. “I mean, you guys have all been duped. You think he’s this benevolent ambassador to your country. People don’t realize he’s from Winnipeg, Canada. Truth hurts sometimes, it makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman’s a fraud!”

Jackman isn’t without blame because the 51-year-old Aussie actor also photoshopped an image of his face onto one of Reynolds’ Freeman posters.

“A small edit to make this a much better promotional tool,” Jackman posted on Instagram.

“What the sh**?!?” Reynolds replied.

Wolverine Deadpool movie a possibility?

Back in December of last year actually saw Hugh Jackman touch upon a possible Wolverine and Deadpool movie.

The interview started off with Wille Geist letting it be known that Ryan Reynolds said there probably will be no more standalone Deadpool films, with the interview then going into the possibility of Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine teaming up with Deadpool, as Reynolds said he “continues to do to full-court press for Hugh Jackman to come back…”

Geist then questions Hugh Jackman, “Have we seen the last of Wolverine?”

Jackman responds, “Oh, Wolverine will be back. Someone is going to play him. I don’t know who.”

Geist asks, “Not you, though?”

Jackman then closes his eyes and nods, “No, but Ryan is relentless. He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shape and form.”

Hugh Jackman continues with mention (perhaps sarcastically?) that he doesn’t think people want a Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

“I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine. I mean maybe a cameo from Deadpool. I just think everyone’s over it… the Deadpool… I don’t know [smiles],” Jackman says.

Willie Geist offers that Ryan Reynolds’ argument for a Deadpool and Wolverine film is that Reynolds thought it would be a boost to Jackman’s career.

“Oh, really. That’s nice of him,” Jackman says with a smile. “He’s throwing me a bone? Got it. You know that term ‘dag,’ I mentioned? Dag is a goofball. You say goofball in America, right? You would say a goof. You’re such a dag, Ryan.”

Hugh Jackman also happens to be rumored for a Wolverine vs Hulk movie.
