Godzilla vs. King Kong

Godzilla vs Kong has a May 22, 2020 release date directed by Adam Wingard and said to star Millie Bobby Brown, Danai Gurira, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, Ziyi Zhang and Van Marten, though the cast has yet to be officially announced. No specific plot details are known but the flick obviously pits the King of the Monsters vs the giant Ape from Skull Island.

Speaking of the King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong follows the release of the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie, which gets released May 31, 2019 and follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

The film is directed by Michael Dougherty with a cast that includes Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Charles Dance, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ziyi Zhang, and Ken Watanabe.

King of the Monsters also looks to tease something about King Kong as already the Monarch Sciences viral site revealed that Godzilla swam by Skull Island, seemingly checking on the great ape.
